2026 AAAS Conference / Travel Bursaries for SA Australian Association of Animal Sciences Members

The Australian Association of Animal Sciences, with sponsorship from the Livestock SA’s SA Cattle Industry Fund, is excited to announce three conference/travel bursaries to partly fund registration, travel and accommodation. The bursaries are for South Australian-based AAAS members to support their attendance at the 37th Australian Association of Animal Sciences Biennial Conference being held in Adelaide, 13-17th July 2026. Each bursary will be for a maximum of $500 per successful applicant.
Conference / Travel bursary applicants must:
- Be a current financial AAAS Member (Undergraduate or Postgraduate Student, Early Career Professional) affiliated to the South Australian Branch, and/or participate in SA projects.
- Complete the attached application form.
- Provide a copy of their AAAS 2026 Conference registration.
- Within 1 week of the end of the Conference, provide a brief, 1-page report that describes the highlights and value of your participation, and a photo that AAAS and Livestock SA can use to support a media release.
- Applications must be made on the AAAS SA Branch 2026 Travel Bursary Application Form.
Applicants involved in both research and/or extension are encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to applicants who can demonstrate active involvement within AAAS and/or financial need.
If an applicant has submitted a one-page paper for the 2026 AAAS Conference, please provide a copy with the application form.
